Acupuncture Therapy
Are you experiencing pain behind your eyes, around the temple areas?
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), acupuncture is proven to help with reducing the pain caused by headaches and restore the flow of positive energy throughout the body. The needles stimulate nerves and release “pain killing” hormones. This immune and circulation system stimulation is how acupuncture can help migraines and tension headaches.

Headache is one of the most common neurological disorder. Surveys show that in 2019, almost 50% of the adults had experienced headaches at least once. Migraines and tension headaches are the most common types of headaches in our daily life.
What causes migraine?
Migraines are mostly caused by the inflammation of blood vessels in our brain and it typically starts with intense pain on one side of the head and often is triggered by light, certain smell and physical activities. Nausea is the most common associated symptom while tension headaches are normally being described as a ‘’band around head’’ type of pressure, which is caused by the upper neck and shoulder tightness.
