Why I Created Acupressure at Panda Clinic

Since becoming a clinic owner I have encountered all kinds of patients. One thing they shared in common was their struggle managing pain.

They would have a persisting pain, visit their doctor, wait what seemed like hours, then rushed through an appointment with their doctor. Only to be met with an uncertain diagnosis and a recommendation for over-the-counter pain medication.

Frustrated at seeing how many of my patients felt the same way, and seeing the opportunity to give my patients better options to managae their pain, I created Panda Clinic’s Acupressure service.

If people in an accident can be covered by ICBC for sessions of Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and Physio, then why can’t everybody else get similar treatment?

What is Full-Spectrum Meridian Stimulation?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the 12 main meridians in the body help distribute nutrients and blood. Similar to the circulatory system.

These meridians affect how Qi (energy) circulates and connects to the body’s major organs.  Each meridian corresponds to an internal organ. In modern western terminology, we could liken this to connective tissue, or neuromyofascial lines.

Meridian stimulation is the name given to acupressure techniques that focus on activating meridians througout the body. It restores balance, mentally and physically. It features touch to stimulate specific points on the body to both assess and treat, or to stimulate the flow of Qi.

Little Known Ways We Disregard Wellness. And Their Effects.

These days the feeling of being stuck is all too familiar.

Stuck at home more than we would like to be.

Stuck behind a desk.

Trapped in the place we call home.

Spending a majority of your time in one place, for work or leisure, can take a toll on your health.

Our bodies and minds are not separate, so it’s not surprising that poor mental health can affect your body. When our mental and physical health suffers, so does our quality of life.

In turn, poor quality of life affects our immune system, personal relationships, performance at work, and much more.

It is a snowball effect that grows bigger the longer it is left untreated.

Poor Sleep Quality

Inability to Focus

Decreased Productivity

Do These Situations Sound Familiar?

Are you working an office job working 9-5?

Are you staying at home over 80% of the time?

Do you have a hard time falling asleep?

Do you feel a loss of motivation and your mood is swaying?

Some days it can all feel like too much. Let Acupressure help get you back on track.

Combination Full-Body Rejuvenation. From A Registered Therapist.

Acupressure is a 3-in-1 combination treatment for the purpose of improving mental and physical wellness. Delivered by our registered therapists.

Alone, you would have to get acupuncture, acupressure massage, and cupping therapy all in one day to equal one session of acupressure. Not to mention paying for all three of them.

That’s a cost of over $225 and 3 hours of your day.

As a result, your schedule would be filled and your bank account empty.

Meridian stimulation therapy is an exciting new approach to improving wellness.

Acupressure utilizes the body’s innate acupoints for all-natural meridian stimulation.

These techniques produce positive changes by gaining access to the energy system of the body. Through the complex network of meridians or channels that move our life force or qi, acupressure improves the flow of energy and promotes healing and wellness.
