Many Canadians find themselves at the mercy of their pain levels on any given day. Controling their work, sleep, and even leisure time.
If find yourself gauging your day based on your pain that morning , or you have been experiencing persistent pain that you can’t seem escape, our specialists at Panda Clinic are here for you. We understand that each injury and person is different, so we tailor your treatment to your needs.
Some of the most common afflictions are:
- Headaches: reoccurring pain localized to different areas of the head. While the causes for headaches can be hard to pinpoint, the need for relief is a serious issue. Whether it be from muscle tension or nerve injury, diagnosing and treating the problem is our main concern.
- Neck pain: while it can be brought on from a variety of reasons, from bad posture to recent injury, the intrusive pain can spread to other areas of the body. Radiating to your head or upper back.
- Back pain: slips and falls are a leading cause of prolonged back pain in patients. Whether it was experienced on the job, or inside your own home, the muscle strain from these accidents could lead to long term issues if left untreated.
If you find yourelf suffering from chronic pain that’s taking over your life, you may want to consider visiting our clinic.

Are Needles Used in Acupressure?
No, needles are not used in acupressure massage. While acupunture and acupressure share common roots, acupunture involves the insertion of hair-thin, disposable needles into the skin. The needles are inserted gently and painlessly into acupuncture points along meridians on the body.
With Acupressure, instead of needles, practitioners use fingers to apply pressure to these meridian points on the body.

We accept: Great-West Life, Industrial Alliance, Desjardin Insurance, Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross (RCMP, Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans Affairs), Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance, Greenshield, First Canadian, Johnson Inc., Johnston Group Inc., Sun Life Insurance, Manulife Financial.
What's The Difference Between Acupressure and Acupuncture?
Acupuncture and Acupressure are both methods used to stimulate acupoints on the body.
Acupuncture uses a hair-thin needle to stimulate acupoints on a patients body, promoting pain relief.
Acupressure is non-invasive and uses a firm, direct pressure to massage these acupoints. Activating the body’s innate healing ability.
What's The Difference Between Acupressure and Massage?
Acupressure is a specialization of massage which influences the flow of qi by stimulating certain points on the body with pressure.
By using these pressure points all over the body, the practitioner can control different forms of chronic pain.
How We Help
What To Expect From Your First Visit?
Our advanced acupressure massage therapy is a 60 minute session with one of our registered acupuncturists.
1. Your Arrival
On your first visit to our clinic, we recommend to arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This is to work through any paperwork or to provide additional information such as any insurance information.
2. Preparing For Treatment
Once you’ve provided the details of your medical history, our acupunturist will then escort you to a treatment room to discuss the details and the issues you would like to address through our acupressure therapy.
3. The Treatment
After your Acupunturist returns, your treatment can begin. Based on the reason for your visit, acupressure therapy techniques will begin, tailored to your needs. It is very important to communicate any concerns or issues you experience during the session. While some areas may be more uncomfortable than others to be worked on, the session should always be to your comfort level.
