Prenatal & postnatal massage services

Why prenatal massage is essential for expectant mothers

At Panda Clinic Burnaby Metrotown we really believe that getting massages when you’re having a baby can be super helpful. When a woman is pregnant, her body goes through a lot of changes, and it’s important to give it support. Prenatal massages can help with these changes and also with the hormones in her body.

Even after the baby is born, it’s still important for the mom to get massages. This can help her body adjust to the stress and changes that come with taking care of a baby. Sometimes, taking care of a baby can make a mom’s body feel uncomfortable or achy, and she might feel stressed or anxious. Getting massages can make these feelings go away and help her feel better overall.

Pregnancy massage benefits

What to expect from a prenatal massage

When a mommy-to-be is pregnant, getting a massage can help her feel better in many ways. It can make her back and pelvis pain go away, reduce swelling in her body, and help her sleep better. Massages can also relax her muscles and even make headaches disappear! At Panda Clinic, we have special massages just for pregnant moms. We know that your body is changing, so we have pillows, cushions, and wedges to make you feel comfortable during your massage. You’ll lie down on a massage table and we’ll adjust it so you can relax in a semi-reclined or side-lying position.

Before getting a massage, it’s important to let us know if you’re pregnant and how far along you are. This helps us make sure we give you the right kind of massage. After the first few months of pregnancy, it’s usually safe to get a massage, but it’s always a good idea to talk to your doctor first. They can tell you if it’s okay for you and your baby.

In the first three months of pregnancy, it’s usually better not to get a massage. This is because your body is still getting used to being pregnant and it may not feel good. You might feel dizzy or uncomfortable if you get a massage during this time. It’s important to listen to your body and take care of yourself.

When you come to Panda Clinic for a prenatal massage, we make sure the massage is just right for you. We want to make sure you and your baby feel comfortable and relaxed. So if you’re pregnant and want a massage, let us know and we’ll take good care of you!

Manage pain & discomfort before it becomes unbearable

Having a baby is hard work, and after giving birth, many moms feel uncomfortable. To help you feel better, we suggest getting massages even after having your baby. Massages can help reduce the pain and stress that your body went through during childbirth.

Getting massages after having a baby can also be really helpful for other reasons. They can help you make more milk if you’re having trouble, and they can even help you lose weight and shape your body. Massages can also make you feel better if you’re feeling sad or stressed after having your baby.

At Panda Clinic, we want to take care of you during this special time in your life. We offer massages that are specially designed for moms like you. These massages can help you relax, heal, and feel better overall.

If you want to try prenatal or postnatal massage therapy, give us a call. We’ll help you book an appointment so you can start feeling relaxed and well again.
