Why do I need this?
The most suitable conditions for online physiotherapy are patients with chronic pain, limited range of motion, car accident injury, sports injury, strains, knee pain, frozen shoulder (rotator cuff tears), tendonitis, sciatica and different kinds of musculoskeletal issues.
Why online physiotherapy?
It is safer (keeping social distance) and more convenient (at the comfort of your own home). A physiotherapy session typically requires the patients to actively perform treatments instructed by a physiotherapist. This works very well with an online physiotherapy session. Think of physiotherapists like “doctors”, but for movement issues. If you suffer from subacute and chronic pains, do see a physiotherapist.
How to book a session?
Book an appointment online through our booking scheduler below. We will match you with a physiotherapist.
Complete your intake and consent form online. So your physiotherapist can prepare your case ahead of time.
After you book a session, you will receive two separate emails. One is an appointment confirmation email with a Zoom video conferencing link (Don’t worry. We will onboard you with Zoom). One is an instruction email about how to prepare for the appointment.
We will send you a text reminder 15 mins before your session starts.
Download Zoom from https://zoom.us/download.
Get yourself ready and start to the treat!
How much does this cost?
$100 CAD per 45 mins session
$82 CAD per 30 mins session
Most extended health benefits will cover 80 to 100% of the cost. After you visit the physiotherapist, we will send you a claimable receipt. You can then submit to your health provider to get reimbursement.
If you have questions about your coverage, call your insurance provider.
The treatment takes place anywhere at your home. You can use a mobile phone, a tablet, or a laptop to communicate with the physiotherapist. Currently, we only accept residents in Ontario for this service.
We respect that your time is valuable and we appreciate that you understand ours is too. If appointments are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, or if you do not attend an appointment, this means we are unable to re-use that time to support other patients.
