Pacific Blue Cross now covers virtual phsiotherapy.
Pacific Blue Cross covers around 80 to 100% for virtual physio telehealth. This is the same as an in-person physiotherapy visit.
How to submit a virtual physio claim from Pacific Blue Cross?
After the virtual therapy visit, you should recieve an invoice with the physiotherapist’s license number.
You can then submit the invoice via your Pacific Blue Cross web portal. The site is https://www.pac.bluecross.ca/.
How to book a virtual physio appointment?
You can book an appointment online or by phone with any certified physiotherapist. You must find a physiotherapist certified by CPTBC. When in doubt call to ask the provider or check the website to make sure your physiotherapist has the CPTBC certification.
How long does it take to recieve the reimbursement?
It may take around 4 to 10 business days. If you have direct deposit set up, you will recieve the reimbursement to your bank in 4 to 5 business days. If it is a mail claim, you will recieve a cheque in around 10 business days.
